Emotes, and wheels for every skin

Emotes had been agreed on 8 October and put off: eight of them on a wheel, shown above the tank, in the kill feed and on the radar, with bots joining in. On the morning of the 10th I said to build them. The faces come from the emoji set in Epic Toon FX, one of the effect packs the game already used. The first version showed each emote's word under the face above the tank. I had it taken off, since an emote with words on it misses the point, and the word went into the kill feed.
A tank also makes a small move with each emote, such as a hop, a nod or a wobble. The agent puts that move on the model only while the picture is being drawn, so it cannot change where the tank is, what hits it, or where its shells leave from.
The skins changed the same morning. Five of the newer ones still had the tank's original wheels, and I asked for wheels in their own colours. I then asked for the same on the plain-colour skins, and picked Ribbit's from a sheet of six. Sundae became Cupcake.
The agent also fixed six tests that had been failing now and then, each at its cause. Another failure turned out to be a fault in the game itself. A long frame at the moment of a hit could use up the hit marker and the kill banner before they were ever drawn.
In this build
- Eight emotes on a wheel, LOL, Hi, Nice shot, Taunt, Woohoo, Noooo, Sorry and GG. Hold V and flick the mouse at a face, use the numpad, or hold D-pad down and push the right stick.
- The face pops up above your tank, shows on the radar and goes into the kill feed with its word, and the tank makes a small move. Bots emote too.
- An option for emotes from others, All, People only or None. The limit is one emote every two seconds and three in ten.
- Every skin except Forest Camo has wheels in its own colour. The plain colours get a darker shade of theirs, and Ribbit's are its hull green.
- The Sundae skin is now called Cupcake.
- Snow and rain are already falling when a match appears, and where the camera lands after a respawn.
- A stutter at the moment of a hit no longer swallows the hit marker, the kill banner or the squash of the hull.
